Another day, another Doctor appointment. I am now 3cm dilated, I dilated 1/2cm in two days. Dr. Jones said he didn't know what was keeping Leigha inside of me. He expects to see me today or this weekend. I pray that this is the case. We are so excited and ready to meet Leigha Bug!!

I was able to meet with my good friend Leigh, of Leigh Bedokis Photography, today to get my proof book from our Prego shoot. I am always blessed when I get to see and talk with Leigh, I love her dearly! My photo's turned out amazing, as I knew they would!! She is my mentor. She is a wonderful photographer, momma, wife, and friend! I will include some photo's from our shoot...but FYI they are copyrighted and therefore you may not steal them and print them off..if you would like a copy of a photo let me know and I will order some for you :)

Drake and Momma Craft day

I decided that because I cannot get on the floor and romp around with Drake that I'd figure out something we could do on the floor together that he would enjoy. It ended up being a "Drake and Momma Craft Morning." We had lots of fun with scrap paper and here are the after photo's from our morning. Enjoy!! We sure did!

Tuesday, Jan. 25 Update

Yesterday was a rotten day for Drake and I, very rotten! I woke up with a HORRID headache and Drake's 12 Month molars finally cut through the first little bit. My vision ended up getting blurry my head was so bad. I went into the Doc so they could check my blood pressure to rule out anything bad. It was just a bad headache apparently because my blood pressure was fine. They went ahead and checked me... I was 2 1/2cm dilated and thin enough to go "any second". However that second didn't come yesterday, we are praying that "second" is today sometime!!

Drake seems to be feeling better today. Right now he's listening to music and dancing around the living room! He take's after his Momma big time when it comes to dancing and music!

Last night when Josh got home he took over the house/Drake duties for me, it was such a blessing! I went into our room, closed the door, and read a book...yes I read the whole thing last night! Only to be interrupted by dinner made and on the table for me :) I don't know what I'd do without my boys, they're pretty amazing and wonderful!!

Today I still have the headache but it isn't as intense, thank goodness! For now, I'm going to get off of here and join my little mover and groover for some dancing...maybe I can dance Leigha out of me ;)

Family and Pregnancy Update

I am now 38 weeks pregnant, phew! I have had some pretty good contractions and a lot of pressure this week but still no baby. I pray that Miss Leigha (named by her Daddy after her Momma's middle name *Leigh*) will show up soon.

Drake is NOT enjoying these last few days (I pray) of my pregnancy. He's mad at me and not afraid to show it! He wants me to get down and play with him but I don't have the energy nor do I have the physical ability to do all that he wants to do. Yesterday his Grandma (Josh's Mom) came over and they got to play for a while, he was soooo hyper and happy to have someone playing with him! He's also been extremely hyper and happy when Dad Dad gets home from work because Daddy gets right on the floor and starts playin'. With me, he's cranky and gives me mean looks, it breaks my heart. I probably get down and do more with him than I should but when he does that I just can't help it!

Drake is such a goofball!! Yesterday I got Oreo's and gave him one then put them back on the table. Well, apparently the little Bug wanted more...He went back into the kitchen when he was done with his Oreo and pulled them off of the table and was munchin' on one before I could waddle in there...Wish I had my camera handy, it was too stinkin' cute and funny! A little man after his Pop Pop and Daddy's heart!!

Speaking of being like his Daddy and Pop Pop...a few weeks ago he finished everything on his plate then picked up his plate and started licking it!!! This we did get photo's of, thank goodness!! His future wife will love these :)
